This weekend, Sony has released an upgrade to Android 4.4.2 KitKat smartphone Xperia M2 (model D2303) in a limited number of countries. Today, the full-scale update Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Dual worldwide. Along with this Sony on its official website published a detailed list of changes that will receive the data sets. As expected, the update to Android 4.4 KitKat for Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Dual brings the same innovation, as for all the other units of the company, previously been updated to KitKat.
Together with an update of the operating system to version Android 4.4.2 KitKat owners Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Dual receive the following changes:
- updated the status bar and quick settings menu became more intuitive and customizable;
- added the wallpaper for lock screen and home screen as well as the animation on and off, as in the video game console PlayStation 4;
- applications can now be moved to a memory card microSD;
- all standard applications Sony has been updated to the latest current version with improved performance;
- an opportunity to upload different user interface themes with the help of service Xperia Themes, in the directory which contains about 280 different styles in order;
- Added compatibility with "smart" watch company, bracelet SmartBand SWR10 Lifelog and application to track physical activity.
To update all devices will take a few weeks, so check through automatic update settings smartphone. Unfortunately, Sony has not announced which devices will be updated as follows.
