During the international exhibition IFA 2014, Asus introduced a new version of the tablet computer MeMO Pad 7 (codenamed ME572C).The device differs from its predecessor in appearance, thin body (8.3 mm), and improved performance. New works on 64-bit quad-core Intel Atom Z3560 processor with a clock speed of 1.83 GHz and a screen with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels (323 ppi). New MeMO Pad 7 is operated by the Android 4.4 KiKat.
Other specifications include 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB of internal memory, a slot for microSD-memory card, 16GB of cloud storage, two speakers, a 5-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel front camera.
The new model of Asus MeMO Pad 7 is scheduled for the third or fourth quarter of this year. New products will be available in red, gold and black colors for a price of € 199 (about $ 260). It is also reported that the market will be LTE-version of the device (model ME572CL).
