RoboCouch: robotic couch on wheels

Students at the University of New South Wales created a sofa on wheels, which is controlled by a conventional game controller from the console Xbox 360. It should be noted that the work on the project began as a joke, but after a while the students really excited about the idea. During the year, nine students were engaged in the development of design, assembly, writing software, and testing, as well as improved the design of their "vehicles" to make it more stable on rough roads or steep slopes.

Inside is a metal frame of the sofa on which engines are placed in charge of the work of four independent wheels and using special rollers for movement in all directions. All of this is connected to a miniature computer Raspberry Pi, which is located in one of the arm rests, and is connected to the game controller.

"We are also thinking about robotic fridge that came to you when you need it" - shared his plans for another student.
