Sony has announced the upcoming release of the new full-frame wide-angle zoom lens, developed by Sony, in cooperation with the firm ZEISS. Now, enthusiasts of photography offered a choice of three zoom lens with high-end large constant aperture F4, including an expected model Vario-Tessar T FE 16-35 mm F4 ZA OSS (SEL1635Z). Complementing the existing zoom lens SEL2470Z and telephoto zoom lens SEL70200G, wide SEL1635Z - is the solution for shooting landscapes, interiors and architecture, as well as for everyday snapshots.
Quality ZEISS lenses reveals the creative potential of a 35-mm full-frame camera series α7. SEL1635Z new lens is also suitable for the full range of cameras and camcorders from Sony mount E. Optical design uses five aspherical elements, including one large advanced aspherical lens element (AA) and three ED glass element. This allows the lens to achieve SEL1635Z field over the entire area of the frame and at the same time reducing to an absolute minimum distortion and chromatic aberration. A distinctive feature of lenses ZEISS - T-coated optical surfaces, which minimizes flare and ghosting, to increase the contrast, sharpness and depth of the scenery, as well as pictures with lighted background. Constant F4 maximum aperture allows the photographer to achieve the effect of defocusing the background with shallow depth of field at all focal lengths.
Full-frame wide-angle zoom lens Vario-Tessar T FE 16-35 mm F4 ZA OSS (SEL1635Z) will go on sale in Russia in early November at an estimated cost of 62,900 rubles.
