The Swiss company TAG Heuer has launched its own smart watches to compete with Apple Watch

Swiss watchmakers, despite the demonstrable disregard for smart watches, are increasingly looking towards the side of "smart" electronics. Popularization of electronic bracelets leads to a decrease in the market of classic watches with electronic and mechanical components: ordinary consumers thinking about buying more advanced solutions. 'Smart' watches make it easier to interact with the digital environment, able to monitor the state of health and physical activity, they are synchronized with smartphones.

Swiss watch brand TAG Heuer has decided to release its own "smart" watches. In an interview with NZZ said CEO Jean-Claude Biver. According to him, the device will be released under the brand TAG Heuer, and, as reported, it will not be like a watch Apple. Specifications and price models are not specified, but it is likely, it is a luxury gadget that can compete with the gold version of Apple Watch.
Swiss watch manufacturers may face serious competition from electronics manufacturers, who have recently begun to shift to production of smart devices, primarily smart watches and glasses.
"We can not afford to follow someone," - said Beaver, noting that TAG Heuer will show their smart watches at a forthcoming exhibition in Basel in the spring of 2015. For more information about the new company promises to deliver later.
TAG Heuer is a subsidiary of LVMH, along with Hublot and Zenith. The company is also engaged in production of premium smartphones Meridiist.
In July, it became known that Apple has hired Director of Sales TAG Heuer. Information was confirmed by Jean-Claude Biver, who said that the representatives of a Californian company contacted him and several other Swiss companies for the supply of components for the wearable computer Apple Watch.
