Smartphone iPhone 5c, which is often referred to in the media product failure, was the most selling phone in the UK in the period from June to August 2014, the report suggests research firm Kantar Worldpanel ComTech.
"Historically, that a month before the release of the new iPhone, we see a drop in the share of Apple, as many consumers postpone the purchase of "apple" smartphone. But this time, the company was able to smooth out this fall - in August, the share decreased by only 1.6% compared to July of this year. Last year, the decline was twice as much.
