Scientists were able to refute the common myth that the electromagnetic radiation from the phones can cause harm to human health. The study on this subject is presented in the magazine Journal of the Royal Society Interface.

Scientists tested the hypothesis that the electromagnetic fields of mobile devices cause infertility and cancer, as well as contribute to childhood leukemia. It is believed that these fields affect vital proteins in the human body.
Manchester chemists have studied the effect of a weak magnetic field (SMP) on flavoproteins - proteins that play an important role in the management of the nervous system and DNA repair. It turned out that the radiation does not affect their operation.
"Flavoprotein electron transfer from one place to another. In this way often occur rapidly decaying structures - radical pair. Biochemical reactions with them are considered the most likely candidate for the damage under the influence of electromagnetic radiation. However, the reaction conditions in the human body such that the biochemical effect of SMP tends to zero" - said one of the study's authors, Alex Jones.
Scientists emphasize that to obtain more accurate results, you need to conduct additional experiments. But now it becomes clear that the power lines, mobile phones and other similar devices is almost completely harmless to human health.
Another study conducted by the British Health Protection Agency of the population (an independent public organization, which is responsible for the protection of the health of citizens from infectious diseases, poisons and radiation) in 2010, also found no conclusive evidence of harmful effects of mobile phones, base stations and Wi-Fi on human health.Nevertheless, many organizations call on further research, as for understanding the long-term effects had little time.
