Development Spartan is far from complete, and some features, such as downloads and history, it lacks. However, there are already workable functions such as the ability to take notes on web pages, reading mode and integration with voice assistant Cortana. Cortana in the browser, as well as a separate application, initially only works for users in the United States.
Spartan (name not final) will be in Windows 10 default browser is displayed on the taskbar and desktop / start screen. Internet Explorer so prominent location receives, and who wish to use this browser will first find it in the system.
Recently it became known that the Spartan will work exclusively on a new engine Edge, and IE on an old Trident, and the original plan to give the opportunity to work both browsers on any engine, it was decided to give up.
In the next update, Microsoft promises to add Spartan support extensions. But cross-platform and off-line will only appear in the full version of Windows 10, which will go on the market this summer.
