Samsung has introduced a secure smartphone Galaxy Xcover 3. The device running Android, will be on display from 16 to 20 March at CeBIT 2015 in Germany.

Galaxy Xcover 3 is made in accordance with the military standard MIL-STD 810G, which means guaranteed the preservation of health in the fall from a height of 1.2 meters. IP67 Certification indicates protection against dust and moisture: gadget is able for 30 minutes under water to a depth of 1 meter.
The smartphone is a 4-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. Amount of RAM 1.5 GB; capacity flash module - 8 GB (expandable due to the microSD-card).

Galaxy Xcover 3 has 4.5-inch display with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixels. The equipment includes a front 2-megapixel camera and the main camera with 5 megapixels, which is available for underwater shooting mode. The thickness of the model is 9.95 mm, and weight - 154 g
Among other things mentioned altimeter, digital compass, GPS and NFC, battery 2200 mAh.The device supports networks of LTE.

Initially, the Galaxy Xcover 3 operating system Android 4.4 KitKat. Would become available to upgrade to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
