Lenovo announces presentation date for Legion gaming smartphone



Shortly after the publication of the video with the unpacking of the Legion smartphone, Lenovo posted a new teaser about the device on the network. The official image with the date of presentation of the gaming gadget also confirms the processor model, on the basis of which a productive novelty will be built.



According to the publication, the first gaming smartphone of the company will be presented on July 22. The device will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor with a maximum clock frequency of 3.09 GHz and Adreno 650 graphics. According to the vendor, the new chip will provide a 10 percent increase in performance compared to the base model.

The company also announced that the new product will be equipped with a proprietary heat dissipation system with 14 temperature sensors. In addition, Lenovo Legion will acquire an additional USB Type-C port on the side for the convenience of charging the device with a power supply up to 90 watts during the game.


The smartphone is credited with a display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a built-in fingerprint scanner, as well as a dual main camera with 64 and 16 megapixel sensors.

The manufacturer does not report the cost of the future news.
