Step 1: Log on to the Apple site to participate in the testing program. After that, download a licensed copy of OS X Yosemite beta of the Mac App Store.
Step 2: Run the Disk Utility from the Utilities folder.
Step 3: Select your USB-drive on the left and click the Advanced tab partition.
Step 4: Point to "Section 1" in the dropdown menu partition layout, right - format «Mac OS Extended (Journaled)". Name the disk Yosemite.
Step 5: Click the Options button at the bottom. Click on the option GUID partition scheme and confirm. Click Apply in the lower right corner of the program. Disk Utility will start to format USB-drive.
Step 6: Start Terminal from the Utilities folder.
Step 7: Make sure that the USB-flash drive was in place and «Yosemite» was the only volume with the same name.
Run the following command in Terminal to create a bootable USB drive, replacing "DISC TITLE" on the name of your USB-stick (!). Enter the administrator password.

After 10-15 minutes, Terminal finished creating the bootable USB drive.
Step 8: Restart your Mac with an installed memory stick, holding the keyboard Alt.
Step 9: You can begin to install OS X Yosemite beta!
