In the U.S. ban phone calls during flights

U.S. authorities in conjunction with the U.S. Department of Transportation prepared a bill that would allow passengers flights to talk on the phone while the airplane. In turn, the carriers want to decide this question.

It should be noted that this decision will apply only to telephone conversations. Against communication by sending text messages Ministry of Transport will not act.
The British company AeroMobile Communications Ltd, in which there are 13 in service airlines, conducted a study according to which passengers are now mainly used for mobile communications exchange SMS and internet access. Of the total number of passengers, only 20% make calls during a flight, and the duration of their conversation does not exceed 2 minutes. During the flight by plane provider limits the number of calls made to both compounds 8-15, and the crew has the ability to disable the service at any time, when it deems fit.
