Research company Good Technology published a report for the second quarter of 2014 on trends in enterprise mobile cloud infrastructures. Despite the growing popularity of Android devices in the consumer segment, Apple's mobile platform is still dominant among corporate users across the globe.
According to analysts, the contribution for the reporting period in the total number of iOS device activations in the corporate sector amounted to 67%. For comparison: iOS coverage in the previous quarter was 72%. In II quarter 2014 Android presence in the companies analysts estimated at 32% of activations, reflecting an increase in the proportion of 5% compared to the previous quarter.
Windows Phone positions were stable during the three-month period, ranging near the level of 1%. Particularly revealing position tablets iPad, whose contribution to the total number of activated "tablets" in the fourth quarter was 90%.
