In total, LG Electronics has received nine awards Red Dot Awards in the category "Communication Design". Among them, three awards "Best of the Best" earned interface popular smartphone LG G3. "Smart Keyboard" LG was first introduced in the smartphone LG G3. It helps reduce errors when entering text by 75%. Through adaptive software that can analyze a set of habits and predict the choice of words, the keyboard makes typing messages faster and easier.
Function Knock Code was developed in response to customer feedback about the existing security application which was uncomfortable and took too much time. Knock Code allows owners of LG smartphones to include and unlock their devices with one easy action, introducing a unique set of taps on the screen instead of the password, which can range from 2 to 8 touches. With more than 80,000 options, KnockCode provides a higher level of comfort and a more reliable security.
The graphical user interface LG G3 provides intuitive control. Completely new interface is different in their appearance, which is embodied in the new design language with the use of pastel colors, simple shapes, flat images and noticeable rounded motifs in common with the company's logo.
LG has yet received six awards in the category "Communication Design", including the award for webOS platform for TV Smart TV. WebOS platform makes it easy to switch between different content sources, be it a TV broadcast, services "video on demand" Smart TV applications or files stored on an external connected device. WebOS from LG also makes finding content easier, and the process of initial installation and connection does not require much effort with the help of an animated character named Bean Bird.
