As of last week on the Microsoft forum complaints began to appear Skype users for the Mac. Some people could not use the popular VoIP-telephony service. Today, Microsoft confirmed the changes on the service, adding that Skype will no longer work on the operating systems under OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.
"We want to clarify the situation. First of all, we want to assure that the change did not affect Skype users on operating systems OS X 10.6 - 10.8. They do not need to jump on the Mavericks or Yosemite.
Nevertheless, we welcome the decision to use only the latest software, ie go to the Mavericks and download the latest version of Skype ».
