Top 5 changes in the fifth beta version of OS X Yosemite [video]

On Monday this week, along with iOS 8 beta 5 came fifth test build of OS X 10.10. Update OS X Yosemite Developer Preview 5 has been available for all developers who are testing new desktop OSes Apple.

Another developer build OS X Yosemite did not bring major changes to the interface. It is only the minor changes and new options for the standard browser Safari. Authors Cult of Mac listed five major changes in OS X Yosemite Developer Preview 5:
  1. Calculator application window has become more transparent.
  2. Pop-up volume indicator and the screen brightness in the style of iOS:
  3. New option "Show the full address of the page" in the address bar of Safari (hidden by default).
  4. At boot time, the application icon Launchpad shows the corresponding indicator:
  5. A thinner panel in the Preferences window.
Public release of OS X Yosemite in the fall. The operating system will be made available only through the online store Mac App Store. Apple did not specify when access to Yosemite receive regular users, but is rumored to release is scheduled for October this year.
