A month later, after the first mention of the impending new product line from Porsche Design BlackBerry Canadian manufacturer officially presented to the public a premium smartphone. Phone is actually a successor to the P'9982, which debuted last year, and thus has the second update to the original account P'9981, first announced in 2011. Externally, the phone kept recognizable design with clean lines and sharp angles, however, the inner "filling" was more in line with the flagship 2014.
Despite the relatively weak processor, P'9983 officially supports all advanced wireless interfaces, including LTE and NFC. It is already known that the smartphone will be available in early October, but the cost of the device has not been announced. In any case, we should not think that it will be low: Porsche Design - this is exactly the case when the manufacturer does not seek to make the phone as cheaply as possible.
BlackBerry Porsche Design P'9983 got a 3.1-inch touch screen with a resolution of 720x720 pixels, dual-core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus 1.5 GHz and Adreno 225 graphics accelerator, 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory (there is a slot for the card Memory microSD). It also contains an 8-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel front camera. Declared support for 4G LTE and Wi-Fi 802.11n (dual-band), FM-radio, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and NFC. P'9983 will work on battery capacity of 2100 mAh. The operating system it uses BlackBerry OS 10.3. The phone's dimensions 119 x 67,1 x 10,6 mm and weighs 140 grams smartphone.
The undoubted advantages P'9983 are the presence of a physical QWERTY-keyboard, metal case, sapphire lens, installed in both chambers, as well as a wide range of accessories, which will be available to everyone at the same time with a smartphone.
