Wearable accessories segment continues to grow. Today at IFA 2014, Garmin introduced Vivosmart - fitness tracker, which notifies its owner of incoming calls, emails, messages and calendar events. In addition, the accessory allows you to control music playback and has a monochrome OLED-display. Device activation occurs after two "Taps" on the screen. Like any other fitness tracker, Vivosmart determines the number of calories burned, distance traveled and the time you spend sleeping. Also, the model is equipped with a vibration motor, which allows the use of an accessory as an alarm clock.
Communication is carried out with a smartphone thanks to Bluetooth technology and application Garmin Connect, available for Android and IOS. The manufacturer claims that the built-in battery will last for 7 days of the fitness tracker.
