Maintainability Motorola Moto 360: 3 of 10

At IFA 2014, Motorola introduced its first "smart" watch Moto 360. Shortly after the announcement of the popular resource iFixit team decided to test the new product on the maintainability, the build quality and a closer look at "filling" accessory. Recall that the Moto 360 come with a processor TI OMAP 3 and equipped with 1.56-inch display that has a resolution 320x290 pixels, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory. As a policy framework used Android Wear, and complete with a clock go wireless charger and strap, which, if necessary, easily replaceable.

The very same test showed a mediocre maintainability. Specialists iFixit overall availability of repair and replacement parts for 3 to 10-point scale. For example, a watch strap has a standard size and fasteners so using tweezers to replace it will not be difficult. However, everything that is inside, though, and has a modular type of connection through cables, but requires complete disassembly, increasing the likelihood of damage to critical damp-proofing sealant.
