In Berlin, the international exhibition of electronics IFA 2014, Panasonic unveiled two tablet computers protected ToughPad FZ-E1 and ToughPad FZ-X1. Both devices have the same technical characteristics and differ only in the operating system, which is operated. In the case of ToughPad FZ-E1 in the operating system is a Windows 8 while ToughPad FZ-X1 is powered by Android. Thus, everyone can choose the plate, depending on their own needs and capabilities of each of the platforms. Both tablets are protected by the standards of IP65 and IP68, allowing innovations to withstand a fall from a height of 3 meters and dive into the water.
Each of the plates has a 5-inch display with 720p resolution and support for use with gloves, quad-core processor with a clock frequency of 2.3 GHz (version for Windows) or quad-core processor with a frequency of 1.7 GHz per se (Android-model), the battery capacity of 6 200 mAh battery and support for 4G LTE.
Panasonic ToughPad FZ-E1 and ToughPad FZ-X1 will go on sale in November at a price of € 1,428 and € 1,385 respectively.
