Work "Start" menu in Windows 9 demonstrated on video

On the Internet a video showing the capabilities of the new "Start" menu in Windows 9. new interface element combines classic elements typical for Windows 7 and earlier versions of the OS, as well as "live" tiles.

In the screenshots you can see a lot of new elements UI, including the "Start" menu, located in the lower left corner of the desktop. The menu is divided into two parts. Part of the left resembles "Start" menu in Windows 7. the top are fixed and folder icons at the bottom - will most frequently used applications. Right-hand side menu, the new: it contains tiles of various sizes, as a reduced version of the start screen in Windows 8.
"Start" in Windows 9 allows you to assign frequently used applications. When the number of labels reaches a predetermined amount, the menu will automatically appear additional sections. The user can also change the size of the "tiles". New "Start" adapted for those who prefer to use the mouse and keyboard, not a touch screen.
On the eve of the German press published two dozen screenshots preliminary technical version of Windows 9. They demonstrated basic "features" of the new platform: Notification Center, updated icons, virtual desktops.
Windows Presentation 9 is expected Sept. 30, and the release of the final version - in April 2015.
