Through the use of updated drivers GPU and the efforts of developers and MWisBest Ziyan site XDA, it became possible to create a fully working and stable firmware based on Android 4.4 KitKat and Android L.
Developers installed a custom kernel, which allowed to use the updated driver. This makes it possible to create a firmware with a stable video encoding and decoding, and the normal functioning of the camera. It is expected that stable firmware based on Android 4.4 KitKat and Android L for the Galaxy Nexus will be announced soon.
