Within many large companies is carried out continuously study and development of new types of interaction with mobile devices. Was no exception, and with Microsoft, whose research lab Microsoft Research presented three working concept of managing today's smartphones and tablet computers. Unfortunately, this is only a prototype, and their appearance in the very near future, it is rather unlikely.
The first project is called RichReview and demonstrates a strong relationship between the management of the stylus, voice, touch and gestures.
Next, we show the control smartphone gestures by using the built-in rear camera. Thanks to special algorithms occurs detection position and movement of the hand. As an example, the work demonstrates the technology in games and navigation applications where we can scale and move the map without touching the screen.
Last concept called FlexSense is a flexible transparent panel, which with the help of built-in piezoelectric sensor interacts with the tablet computers to display additional content. Also, this panel can be used as the control element in a variety of games.
