Apple: 63% of users of iPhone, iPad and iPod touch switched to iOS 8

Last time Apple has published statistics proliferation of different versions of iOS in late November. Since then, the latest version of the mobile platform could significantly strengthen its position. However, "eight" still does not show the result of the previous versions of the system.

If, as of November 27 8 iOS share was 60%, over the past two weeks it has reached 63% among the "apple" devices. Users will not be in a hurry to move on with iOS 7, iOS 6 and sometimes even earlier. This fact must be recognized. Change things could not even release iOS 8.1, which corrected the most critical mistakes Apple's software. It is highly unlikely that iOS 8.1.2 , debuted this week, something will change.
Increasing the share of iOS 8 was made possible mainly due to iOS 7. In particular, the "seven" lost 2% and 33% was limited in the final statistics. One point lost earlier version of the mobile operating system whose overall result is now 4%.
Often you can find on the web user comments, which are recognized using the iOS 6. As can be seen from the statistics, these people are a minority, given that in the course are still in the earlier version of the mobile operating system on older devices.

It is believed that the slower compared with last year's release of iOS 8 contributes to the spread of the fact that users who want to upgrade their iPhone and iPad "in the air" ie, without connecting to a computer with iTunes, must before downloading and installing delete content. OS is simply not enough room to unpack all the necessary components for installation.
Nevertheless, the share of iOS 8 as a whole is growing, but it's definitely not the progress that annually calculates Apple, releasing new software for iPhone and iPad.
