Apple lifted the sanctions after six months from the launcher for the iOS 8 Notification Center

Developer Launcher widget Greg Gardner announced the triumphant return of its development in the App Store. Application that allows you to add applications and contacts, create shortcuts for actions in various applications and use them as widgets, Notification Center, was not available to users for six months.

Launcher was expelled from the App Store in the autumn of 2014. In September, Apple contacted Greg and warned that the company decided to limit the scope of widgets for interaction with other applications. In Cupertino noted that this misuse of the interface element, although the rules App Store is no such limitation and moderators have approved the application first.
«Apple then told me that I need to update the application, removing widgets for Notification Center or they will exclude it from the App Store in a few days" - says the developer.
Creator Launcher noted that he issued a "compromise update" in which click on the Notification Center widgets does not lead directly to a third-party application, and forwards it to the program. The update was sent for moderation at the end of September. Within an hour, Apple vetoed the new version of Launcher and removed from the App Store.

Over the past six months, Gardner tried several times to send updates to align with Apple, but to no avail. Until, at one point, in Cupertino have not contacted him and said that now in the App Store applications are accepted with such functionality. Launcher back in the app store in its original form.
