Scientists at the University of California (UCLA) conducted an interesting study among users of the products Apple. They asked 85 students (68 of them - women) to draw from memory company logo. 89% of them were using the "apple" products.
The resulting patterns were evaluated element by element: apple shape, presence and position of bite on it and a leaf on it. In the end, only 7 out of 85 people have been able to reproduce the "apple" logo without large errors. But to draw an exact copy could and did only one member of the experiment (the owner of the PC).
The majority of respondents correctly remember the basic concept of the logo, but they have serious problems when trying to play the part. Someone could not remember which side is to take a bite, but someone forgot about the other minor elements.
In the second experiment, participants were asked to guess which of the eight figures presented is actually the logo of Apple. In this case, correctly answered 47% of respondents.Results of iPhone and Mac were slightly better than the users PC, but the researchers stressed that "statistically significant" differences as responses were detected.
