Microsoft has officially unveiled a new tablet Surface 3 on the basis of a full-fledged Windows, is a budget version of the Surface Pro 3. The device has received more compact screen and weaker processor compared to the "older" model.
The novelty is identical with the Surface Pro 3 design and is made of the same materials. Thus Surface 3 works on a quad Intel Atom x7 (Surface Pro 3 is built on Intel i3 and above) and holds a charge up to 10 hours of video playback. He also has a stylus pen with 256 levels of depression, port USB 3.0, Micro USB connector for charging and stand with different positions.
Surface 3 weighs 622 grams and has a thickness of 8.7 mm (Surface Pro 3 weighs 800 grams, a thickness of 9 mm). In the budget version 10.8 inch screen with a resolution of 1920 × 1280 (at the Surface Pro 3 - 12 inches with 2160 × 1440), 3.5-megapixel front and 8-megapixel main camera (for Surface Pro 3 - 5 megapixels on both) .
Surface 3 will be available pre-loaded with Windows 8.1. Subsequently, the owner will be able to make the transition to the free Windows 10. Buyers gadget receive a free subscription to Office 365 Personal year and 1 TB OneDrive.
