Archos today unveiled several new devices, among them - the first smartphone running on the operating system Windows Phone. Also among the new products - a new tablet computer and a number of smartphones running the operating system Android. It should be noted immediately that all the devices are low-end segment. Archos 40 Cesium is the first smartphone company, which operates based on the Windows Phone 8.1. Among the other specifications are specified 4-inch display of unknown resolution and quad-core Snapdragon 200. It will be available in three colors: black, blue and yellow. The phone is only $ 99.
Also introduced a new tablet PC Archos 80 Cesium under the control of Windows 8.1, which has an 8-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels and a quad-core processor from Intel. The cost of this unit is $ 149.
The company also announced the Archos 50b Platinum smartphones and 45c Platinum, and also the plate 101 Oxygen. All devices work on the operating system Android 4.4 KitKat.
Archos 50b Platinum has a 5-inch IPS-display with a resolution 960h540 pixels, quad-core CPU MediaTek MT6582 processor with a clock speed of 1.3 GHz, 512 MB of RAM, expandable to 4 GB of internal memory, 8-megapixel primary and 2-megapixel front-facing camera, support for two SIM-cards and battery capacity of 1900 mAh.
Archos 45c Platinum has the same technical characteristics as the 50b Platinum, except for the 4.5-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 854x480 pixels.
Archos 101 Oxygen is a 10.1-inch tablet with Full HD-resolution, quad-core CPU MediaTek, 1,5 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. Archos 50b Platinum and 45c Platinum will go on sale in September for $ 149 and $ 129, respectively, and the Archos 101 Oxygen will hit stores in October for $ 249.
