Hackers posted a net candid photos of actresses Jennifer Lawrence, Kirsten Dunst, Teresa Palmer, models Kate Upton, Bar Refaeli, Olympic Champion Cup Hope Solo and many other stars on 1 September. Affair of the stolen iPhone with American stars photographs was engaged in the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
Apple CEO Tim Cook, meanwhile, denied the existence of vulnerabilities in the services of the company, through whose fault supposedly there was a mass leak intimate photos. Summing up "more than 40 hours" of the internal investigation, the manufacturer of the iPhone and iPad announced that iCloud and Find My Phone have not been compromised, and private shots of celebrities had been stolen as a result of targeted hacking individual accounts.
After the incident, Apple promised to take measures in order to strengthen the protection of iCloud. In particular, now the company will notify users by e-mail, and by means of push-notifications about trying to change the password to the accounts, to restore data to a new device, or when a device is first connected to the account. Earlier notification about data recovery iCloud not dispatched.
