Apple bought the developer database management systems FoundationDB

Apple bought the company FoundationDB, has developed one of the most effective on the market database management system NoSQL. The cost of the transaction and the terms were not disclosed.

FoundationDB was founded in 2009 by CEO David Rosenthal, Nick and Dave Scherer Lavezzo. In two rounds of investment company raised $ 22.7 million from SV Angel, Sutter Hill and CrunchFund.
