Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ is equipped with eight Kryo 585 Prime cores operating at a frequency of up to 3.1 GHz. This provides a 10 percent increase in performance over the Snapdragon 865, which uses Kryo 585 cores with a maximum frequency of 2.84 GHz. In addition, the chipset uses an overclocked video accelerator Adreno 650, which allowed to increase the graphics processing speed by 10%.

Another distinctive feature of the chipset is support for the new Wi-Fi 6E standard with frequencies up to 6 GHz, which allows data transfer at speeds up to 3.6 Gb / s. There is also support for the most current version of Bluetooth - 5.2.
In all other respects, the Snapdragon 865+ is identical to the usual Snapdragon 865: support for 5G, up to 16 GB of RAM LPDDR5 with a frequency of 2750 MHz, 4K-screens with a frequency of 60 Hz or Quad HD + with a frequency of 144 Hz, Snapdragon Elite Gaming technology.
It is already known that the Snapdragon 865+ will be installed in the upcoming announcement of the gaming smartphones ASUS ROG Phone 3 and Lenovo Legion.
