In selling out the world's first imager for iPhone [Video]

U.S. company FLIR Systems, specializing in the production of high-quality thermal imagers, which are used in professional and private life, has opened pre-orders for the new case for the iPhone, the gadget turns into a real imager. FLIR One accessory works on technology similar to that used in professional military gauges.

The device consists of two plates, which in turn are placed on the back side of iPhone. First plays a purely defensive role, and the second is the actual imager equipped with optional battery 1400 mAh. On the outer surface of the case is an elegant slider activating imager and two cameras lenses (normal and heat). Put iPhone accessory makes too cumbersome: the assembled kit is not much larger than the very first iPhone.

FLIR One as a digital photo module, introduced sometime in cell phone and enables you to take snapshots of unexpected and interesting events that are so full of our life. But unlike a conventional camera, the gadget makes photo and video shoots in the infrared region of the spectrum, indiscernible to the common man. The device also comes with MSX (get function multispectral dynamic images).
FLIR One can use not only for playing spies, but for entirely utilitarian purposes like testing electronics for overheating, drafts and find problem areas in the insulation. $ 350 device is available for pre-order now only in the United States and will be available in a few days.
