Imagine that you can charge the battery in just 26 seconds. In fact, this is not fantasy, but reality. At least this says Sean West, an American engineer who developed batteries capable to charge from 0 to 100% in less than half a minute.
Unlike similar batteries, which must ultimately be recycled, a new invention can be recharged hundreds of thousands of times. If all that is true American says, the novelty may be the Holy Grail of batteries. If the smartphone can be recharged in 26 seconds, the dependence on electrical outlets will significantly decrease.
West is currently seeking funding for the project on the site Kickstarter. The video, which published an inventor, he says he can use his technology and the author to create batteries for mobile devices with similar parameters.
To start production Vesta need 10,000 dollars . At the moment, he has collected more than 10,500 dollars. Those who invest in the project $ 25, can count on AA batteries and special charger in October this year.
The project looks very promising, nevertheless remains an open question of security, as well as the actual duration of the "life" of such batteries: West could hardly empirically ensure that its batteries can withstand the "hundreds of thousands" of charge / discharge cycles.
