Casio introduced the action-camera Exilim EX-FR10. The manufacturer positions as a novelty device with an unusual design. The device has two components: the rounded part with the very lens and camera control unit with display and control buttons needed. They can be disconnected to each other. In this case, the connection between the two devices will be provided by Bluetooth.
Optical unit has a 14-megapixel 1 / 2.3-inch sensor. Wi-Fi support for this part is also provided - the user will be able to rewrite the footage with microSD-memory card to any other device. The control unit is equipped with a 2-inch touch screen. While Exilim EX-FR10 is available only for the Japanese market in three colors (green, white and orange), but the manufacturer promises will soon start selling the camera and in other regions.
