World-renowned manufacturer of vacuum cleaners Dyson took 16 years and $ 47 million to build its first autonomous robotic vacuum cleaner. The company says that the Dyson 360 Eye much more powerful than any robot cleaner available on the market. The gadget is controlled via a mobile app for iOS or Android, connecting to the network by Wi-Fi. With a smartphone, you can set the time of harvesting and other parameters. The robot cleaner is designed for 20-minute session, after which it automatically returns to the charging station.
Dyson said that they were able to solve the basic problems of modern robotic vacuum cleaners. Special technology "cyclone" in combination with energy-efficient motor allows you to split a large dust and dirt, as well as suck and hold particles of 0.5 microns.
A special camera and infrared sensors provide all-round view of 360 degrees, which allows the vacuum cleaner as accurately as possible to navigate in space, do not miss the dirty floor areas and always return to the scene charge.
Brush nylon and carbon fiber is equal to the width of the device itself, which eliminates the need for widespread additional brushes without compromising the quality of cleaning in hard to reach places.
Instead of the usual wheels used caterpillar, which allow the robot to move efficiently on any surface and overcome small obstacles like doorsteps.
Robot vacuum cleaner Dyson Eye 360 goes on sale in the spring of 2015 in Japan and later in the same year in other countries. Price trends remains unknown.
