The next few years he spent driving around the world and working in startups (including, in its own).
In June 2014 Apple recruiter turned back to Fu and said that the team is looking for specialist Apple TV. Apple TV employees rejected resume Jeremy, then HR-specialist tried to arrange Fu in other departments of the company, but he was unable to attend the interview. "The company paid all the expenses. I arrived the day before the interview to get used to the time difference, I was met by a rented car, which drove me to the hotel. Rest of the day I spent on rote learning algorithms and data structures".
Interview with two different specialists was divided into 45-minute segments. Five interviews with a short break for lunch.
"Perhaps it was the most intense thing through which I ever had to go through to get the job done. I still remember that day. I am infinitely grateful to the people who conducted the interview, because they did not ask crazy questions from the course Computer Science 101.
Topics covered were quite adequate, most of the problems about which we spoke already met me in my work. Some questions even touched my philosophical views on engineering".
After the interview, Jeremy went home, not knowing whether or not he coped. A December 11, 2014 he received in the mail a job offer and January 2015 will start his career at Apple.
