Audi showed the concept of a large electric SUV

More and more well-known car manufacturers are releasing electric versions of their popular models. Audi decided to break into a promising market, introducing the Q4 Sportsback e-tron concept. It is reported that it is on the basis of the new prototype that an electric SUV worth $ 45 thousand will be released.

The Q4 Sportsback e-tron will receive two engines at once, thanks to which an all-wheel drive system with a total output of 225 kW will be implemented. Audi claims that the car will accelerate from zero to 100 km / h in 6.3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 180 km / h.

The battery will receive a capacity of 82 kWh, which should be enough for 450 kilometers without recharging in accordance with the WLTP standard. The German automaker says that the transmission implemented in the concept will be used in the flagship line of the production model.

The competitor of the new SUV from Audi will be the Ford Mustand Mach-E. The interior of the car is identical to that implemented in the Audi Q4 e-tron. The manufacturer himself says that it will be a fairly large car. Its dimensions are 4.6 meters in length by 1.6 meters in height.

Sales of the commercial version are scheduled for the end of 2021.
