New 20-Watt Charger for iPhone 12 Certified

The Chinese regulator 3C has published documents and images of the new power supply, which may become complete for the family of smartphones Apple iPhone 12. The description indicates that the maximum power of the accessory is 20 W (9 V / 2.2 A). Earlier photos of the accessory already appeared on the network, but other technical specifications were indicated on the picture.

Presumably, Apple will introduce this year three new models of its own smartphones with a display diagonal of 5.4, 6.1 and 6.7 inches. According to rumors, users will have to buy a charger separately: only a USB Type-C to Lightning cable is waiting for them in the box. The expected cost of the power supply is unknown.

Insider announced the date of the presentation of the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2

The reputable informant Ice Universe, whose forecasts are often very accurate, published a message according to which the presentation of the second generation of the flexible smartphone Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will take place on August 5 at the Samsung Unpacked event. According to previous leaks, the device will be built on the basis of the Snapdragon 865 processor, will receive 12 GB of RAM and at least 256 GB of internal memory, a 4365 mAh battery and a triple main camera.

At the same time, the novelty will go on sale under the name Galaxy Z Fold 2 only after a month and a half - on September 20. The source does not report the reasons for the delay in starting sales.

NVIDIA will change the power connector on GeForce RTX 3000 graphics cards

The rumor of rumors related to NVIDIA Ampere graphics cards was the statement of the Chinese profile organization FCPowerUp, which notes that graphics accelerators can get a new power standard with a 12-pin plug. The source also claims an additional 4-pin connector, but does not specify its purpose.

Experts associate the possibility of changing the wiring with the fact that the line of graphics accelerators GeForce RTX 3000 can potentially consume from 400 to 600 W, and therefore engineers will need to install an additional power line. This, in turn, will lead to a change in the type of connector.

Representatives of NVIDIA did not comment on the statement by insiders.
