The Redmi brand has expanded the range of thin branded laptops, introducing the updated line of RedmiBook 16 and RedmiBook 14 with tenth-generation Intel Core processors. In addition, all new items are equipped with discrete graphics accelerators NVIDIA, solid state drives and a decent set of interfaces.
The new RedmiBook 16 is equipped with a 16.1-inch IPS-display with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels. Depending on the configuration, the performance of the portable PC is the responsibility of the Intel Core i5-1035G1 or Intel Core i7-1065G7 processor, and for multimedia capabilities - integrated Intel Iris Plus graphics and discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX350 with 2 GB of GDDR5 video memory.
In all versions, the laptop has 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM and a 512 GB SSD. The model supports Wi-Fi 6 networks and is equipped with a wireless module Bluetooth 5.1. The following ports are provided on the laptop case: 1 x USB 3.1, 1 x USB 2.0, 2 x USB Type-C, 1 x HDMI 1.4, a 3.5 mm combined audio port.
The capacity of the built-in RedmiBook 16 battery is 46 Wh. According to the manufacturer, the autonomy of the device is up to 12 hours when playing a pre-loaded video, up to 9 hours of watching videos online or up to 8.5 hours of web surfing. Included with the new product is a 65 W power supply: in just 30 minutes, the laptop can charge up to 50%. The weight of the device is 1.8 kilograms.
The second line of brand laptops is a continuation of the branded series introduced at the end of May 2019. The new RedmiBook 14 II is equipped with 14-inch displays (1920 × 1080 pixels) with a maximum brightness of 300 nits. There are several modifications of laptops to choose from: with an Intel Core i5-1035G1 or i7-1065G7 processor, as well as integrated graphics and an NVIDIA GeForce MX350 graphics card.
Like the older model, RedmiBook 14 II is compatible with the latest wireless standard Wi-Fi 6. The set of interfaces includes 1 x USB 3.1, 1x USB 2.0, 2 x USB Type-C, 1 x HDMI 1.4 and a combined 3.5 mm audio jack. The amount of RAM can be 8 or 16 GB (3200 MHz), depending on the configuration, but the amount of installed SSD for all options is 512 GB.
The battery capacity of 40 Wh is responsible for the autonomy of the laptop, which provides up to 10.5 hours of local video playback, up to 8.5 hours when watching videos on the Internet and up to 7.5 hours in the browser. From a complete 65-watt power supply in 28 minutes with the lid closed, the laptop charges up to 50%. The weight of the RedmiBook 14 II is 1 kilogram.
