Apple's App Store clears anti-virus applications

Apple decided to release on the App Store mobile applications that promise to protect users from viruses, Trojans, SMS-blockers, worms and other malicious software. It is reported by 9to5Mac citing company Intego, which develops anti-virus program VirusBarrier.

In the App Store there is a whole category of applications, the purpose of which, according to the description - the protection of the iPhone and iPad from the main threats and prevent identity theft. The developers claim scrutiny of its software on vigilance, resistance to infection, speed and other parameters.
