Google about five years ago launched the YouTube along with Flash support HTML5.However, if the user wants to receive it in video format HTML5, still he had to go to this link YouTube.com/HTML5.
The Company does HTML5 standard default due to some limitations present in it. The most important of these was the lack of support method Adaptive Bitrate (ABR), Leider said. ABR reduces buffering time on a slow connection and open more videos at the same time due to the automatic adaptation of the video, such as resolution and bitrate. According to YouTube, ABR has reduced the buffer time by 50% on average and up to 80% - in congested networks.
Flash technology was developed by Macromedia, and in 2005 the company was acquired by Adobe Systems (developer of Photoshop and other popular programs for working with graphics).
In recent years, many companies began to abandon Flash support in their products, including Microsoft (in Internet Explorer 8 for Windows) and Google (in Android). It is believed that the impetus for this decision was an open letter to the former Apple CEO Steve Jobs published them in 2010. In the letter, Jobs explained that the company does not add support for Flash in iOS mobile platform due to the fact that it is too slow, consumes a lot of energy and contains a large number of vulnerabilities.

Markup language web pages HTML5 does not have these disadvantages, primarily because it is an open technology, developed jointly by a large number of companies (they include and Apple, and Google). Technology Flash, in turn, is a proprietary, closed. Work on the HTML5 specification was completed in October 2014.
