Introduced HONOR MagicBook Pro (2020) with powerful AMD Ryzen 4000H processors

The HONOR brand introduced an updated version of the MagicBook Pro laptop. Its main feature was the use of AMD Ryzen 4000H series processors. The laptop also boasts a 16.1-inch display with a thin frame, compact enough dimensions and support for fast charging.

The new MagicBook Pro (2020) is offered in two versions with a six-core Ryzen 5 4600H or an eight-core Ryzen 7 4800H, operating at a frequency of up to 4.2 GHz. A discrete graphics card is not provided in the laptop. To cool the components, two SharkFin Dual Fan 2.0 fans are used, which can rotate at speeds up to 5800 rpm. The manufacturer claims that after 30 "runs" of the laptop in the CineBench R15 benchmark, it gives 1611 points in the multi-core mode, which indicates the absence of throttling.

In addition to productive processors, MagicBook Pro (2020) has 16 GB of dual-channel DDR4 memory and a 512 GB PCIe NVMe SSD. A 16.1-inch Full HD display occupies 90% of the cover. This is achieved due to the thin frames: 14.6 mm lower and 4.9 mm upper and side. With dimensions of 369 x 234 x 16.9 mm, the laptop weighs about 1.7 kg.

Of the connectors provided USB Type-C, also used for charging, USB Type-A, HDMI and a 3.5 mm audio port. 65 W fast charging with the ability to recharge 50% in 30 minutes is supported. For secure authorization, a fingerprint scanner is provided.

HONOR MagicBook Pro (2020) Ryzen Edition in the version with Ryzen 5 4600H costs $ 671, and the modification based on Ryzen 7 4800H is estimated at $ 743. The laptop will go on sale July 30, but so far only in China.
