Apple has appointed a new chief public relations manager

Apple has appointed the chief public relations manager Steve Dowling. This is stated in the message Recode, referring to its own power in the American corporation.

Dowling came to Apple in 2003 and held various management positions. As the chief public relations manager he will lead the relationship with the press, responsible for the formation of information and advertising strategy to choose methods of interaction with the public, organizations and the media.
Appointment was made within six months after the departure of Katie Cotton. May 31 was the last day of her work as a top manager of the most expensive corporate world. Cotton worked at Apple for almost 20 years and was one of the most experienced executives. According to her, the decision to leave Apple has become one of the most difficult of her career. Kathy rarely made public statements, but it can often be seen in public next to Steve Jobs and Tim Cook.
Kathy is known for being always actively defended Apple and its leadership, mediating between the company and members of the press. Given how Apple closed and secret corporation, Cotton worked in really difficult conditions, but copes with its responsibilities.
As chief PR man Tim Cook was looking for someone who would be just as well to maintain the reputation of Apple.
